Disney Skate Adventure

Sophia's review: "It was fun but assaulting to the eyes and I got extreme motion sickness watching. -1 for the music I couldn't handle it sometimes idk maybe I was going through a phase." 8/10

Coltan's review: "As another childhood game of mine I wil share some bias as it was one of the few games my parents played with me as a kid. I love the cheesy soundtrack which featured reel big fish, Smashmouth and lil romeo which was of it's time. The gameplay is a simplified version of Tony hawk's pro skater 4 with a disney pallette on top. It's cool to think how disney essentially made a licensed mod of THPS 4 which they would never do today or anything similar. With cool stages from classic movies and fun character customization I still thoroughly enjoyed my recent playthrough and will eventually come back to play it once again in the next couple of years." 7.5/10

Exo One

Sophia's review: "It loses 5 points for the Jupiter jumpscare." 5/10

Coltan's Review: "I intiially discovered this game during my marble 3d platformer craze and this game was such a cool take on the genre. This game has a vague story that I didn't really follw but the gameplay was so relaxing as you explored different planets as an alien space ship that shapeshifts either into a rolling ball or a disc that can fly into the air. The satisfaction of traversal is this game's highlight as your two triggers decide your gravity. It turns every mountain or incline into a ramp to launch yourself into the stratosphere to find your beam that sends you to the next planet. My most memorable moment during my first playthrough was this water world where you are riding off of waves with basically 0 solid ground. I never felt so scared of a non horror game when I accidentally changed the gravity to high and sunk down to the bottom of the ocean at mach 10 with no bottom in sight. My ass was clenched. For a short zen gaming experience I'd highly reccomend it:)" 9/10

Binding of Isaac

Sophia's review "The only reason it loses a point is because I get weird when the game turns on you know?." 9/10

Coltan's review: "The game that finally got me into Roguelikes. It was insane how much content has been put into this with the amount of items and synergies with the 20+ characters you unlock through your playthrough. The game may feel intimidating at times especially if you play the game without a guide that explains each items and their abilities but there's also a magic to it. Even after my intial run of beating the "final boss" and ll of the different main endings I find myself booting it up again and playing some runs or doing some of the challenges which give you certain abilities to start off. Some are easy while some are brutally unfair. This game helped me understand that Rng isn't always against the player even though sometimes I'd be restarting the beginning of my run because I got a shit item at the beginning." 9/10

Hotline Miami

Sophia's review: "I loved that game it was so much fun to watch! Fun colors fun story!" 10/10

Coltan's review: "Another indie masterpiece that I put off playing until an old friend made me sit down and play through the entire game in 3 hours and I was invested. I love titles where you die and restart almost instantly as the game expects you to make mistakes and try again. Simple graphics and a wonderful synthwave soundtrack with some of the most impactful sound design I've found in gaming. I'll never forget the silence after the bomb room that felt like it was going to blow out my friend's speakers." 10/10

Neon White

Sophia's review: "5 out of 10 because I liked the game and watching you play but it's something I would never play and the god awful characters knocked a few pegs off the points" 5/10

Coltan's review: "This game I put off for 2 years until 2023 and just like Marble it up Ultra I grinded for every secret in each level as well as the diamond times. The story is fairly simple with plenty of cheesy anime tropes that was aware of how cringy it was but stuck with it anyway which I can respect even though I didn't care for it too much. This game has Machine girl as the composer and is hands down my fav OST of any game I've played with bloody sneakers probably being my fav. Combining Fps elements into a 3d platformer speedrunner paradise with a deck builder of guns you collect through each stage that have 2 functions. Shooting and discarding. When you throw away your card you are granted a one time mobility option like a double jump, stomp down, straight dash or a grappling hook. Each level with this in mind has a built in shortcut that you ublock after getting a gold time so each stage gradually gives the player more information. I was so obsessed with the game that after showing a friend the game wespent 3 hours passig the controller back and forth to each other beating our previous bests and that was when I discovered the elusive dev medal times that have no achievments or incentives besides personal gratification. The next few months I replayed every stage sometimes shaving off multiple seconds. After all of that I was in the top 3000 of players with some individual levels in the top 1000. One of my top 10 fav games of all time. " 10/10

Orbo's Odyssey

Sophia's review "It was a fun game to wach but I think I argued with you a lotbwcause I wanted you to go soemwehre and you went somewehre else. -2 points for being disobedient." 8/10

Coltan's review: "Short and sweet 3d platformer with a unique set of movement options plus this game has a steam workshop with a fairly easy to use level builder in unity. For a bit of time I was trying to port ponyville and Rarity's boutique into this but never finished it sadly. I did make a little race level out of mario kart 64's rainbow road which was cool." 7/10
